Be the Light for Survivors This Holiday Season

As the year comes to a close, we are reminded that the holiday season — a time often associated with warmth and connection — can be especially difficult for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. This season, SCCADVASA invites our community to Be the Light for those who need hope, healing, and support.

Your awareness, your advocacy, and your willingness to stand with survivors help illuminate a path toward safety and justice.

Upcoming Training & Advocacy Opportunities

Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI): Verbal Intervention™ Training

Available to SCCADVASA member organizations

SCCADVASA is proud to offer a one-day, VSP-approved CPI training focused on non-restrictive verbal intervention skills. Facilitated by certified SCCADVASA instructors, this training equips participants with practical de-escalation strategies to help reduce harm and respond to challenging behavior with confidence and compassion.

This is a crucial skill set for professionals who work directly with survivors and communities experiencing crisis.
